An ampitheater was built on the east end of the complex. Plays were put on by the residents depicting how and when they came to Chisholm. In later years, Chisholm pageants and high school plays were also held there. In the early 1950's the idea came to Odin Rudstrom and Peter Del Greco to make the area into a museum. Many items had been donated for display by local residents and area businesses. Odin Rudstrom was the currator of the museum from 1954 to 1976, Peter Del Greco was the currator from 1976 to 1984.
